Shared workspaces, incubators and collaborative equipment are a rapidly growing trend across industries. Join us for a tour of one such workspace and gallery at Latitude Chicago. Afterwards, discuss with colleagues over a pint at Kaiser Tiger gastropub (1415 W Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60601).
Latitude is a collaborative art and lab space featuring high end scanning and printing equipment, an artist-in-residence program and ongoing arts programming. More specialized than your average digital media lab, its focus is squarely on photo and print production. It is a non-profit that welcomes all members of the public including educators, enthusiasts, photographers, and students.
Latitude’s mission is “to provide access to high-end digital media equipment, a professional production space, and a curriculum dedicated to real-world workflows and contemporary art theory.”
