Looking for new ways to expand services to your patrons? Mount Prospect Public Library has offered a “Reference by Appointment” service since 2008. Learn how this service has grown and evolved to meet the needs of patrons researching a variety of topics. To address the unique technology needs of its patrons, the Morton Grove Public Library began offering a Book a Librarian service in 2013 as a way to provide individual technology training. Dale Heath from MPPL and Melissa Mayberry from MGPL will share what they have learned from their experiences in creating and implementing these one-on-one sessions.
